I have a couple of activities that I love, but I'm still on my journey to find more pause activities. Global Entrepreneurship Week is an international celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups and bring ideas to life. I also want to have an open discussion on how to find the pause activities that really resonate with you. I will be sharing my tips for self-care and how important it is to block out time to pause.
You know the activities that you do that truly help you unwind, relax and rejuvenate - those are your pause activities. We are all very unique individuals and each of us has different ways to pause that we connect with. During my recovery, I learned a lot about self-care and finding the different ways that I pause. It was hard for me to slow down and be comfortable in stillness. That changed last August as a result of a car accident. My personality has always been to hustle as much as I can and always stay busy. In my session, I will share my story of having to slow down almost overnight in order to heal from an injury.

I'm honored to be speaking at GEW! I started my career as an attorney, transitioned to a stay-at-home mom and ran an online business, and then re-entered the workforce for several opportunities.
